Who Dares Wins

Today is the thirty first anniversary of the British SAS liberating the Iranian Embassy in London.

Around 11:30 on April 30, 1980 six man calling itself the Democratic Revolutionary Movement for the Liberation of Arabistan (that's a bit of a mouth full, lets shorten it to DRMLA) captured the Iranian Embassy in London.

The group's demands were for the autonomy of an Arab-majority petroleum-rich region in southern Iran known as Khūzestān and the release of ninety-one of their 'comrades' held in Iranian jails.

26 hostages were taken, with 5 being released over the next few days. On May 6, 1980 the kidnappers killed a hostage, press attaché Abbas Lavasani and threw his body outside. It was now time for the SAS to go to work and the Counter Revolutionary Warfare (CRW) section was already in place.

To mask preparations for the storming of the building, aircraft taking off and landing from Heathrow Airport were told to reduce altitude and fly lower over the embassy. British Gas began noisy drilling in an adjoining street to provide noise cover as the SAS moved into position. Detailed architectural plans of the building were obtained, and additional information given by the freed hostages and a detailed briefing from the caretaker (who revealed that the first two floors had a very high grade of bullet-resistant glass installed, hence the use of frame charges rather than sledgehammers in the assault).

Consideration was briefly given to a stealthy entry via the skylight during night-time, in which the terrorists would have been shot with suppressed (silenced) weapons while they were asleep. However the plan was abandoned.

Prior to the attack, the kidnappers and hostages had been observed through fibre-optic probes inserted through the shared wall of an adjoining building. Microphones were used to eavesdrop from the building next door. The raid was rehearsed in a mock-up of the building in nearby Regent's Park army barracks in central London (The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war).

Hostages were located on the second floor, with men at the front and women at the rear of the building. The attacking force consisted of five four-man teams:

One team to the front, entry via the first floor, entry from No.14's balcony - as seen by television cameras
One team through the second floor panoramic skylight to the stairwell, via abseiling
One team through the second floor rear balcony, via abseiling
One team through the first floor door, clearing the basement
One team through the first floor door, clearing the first floor

Five of the six militants were killed and 19 hostages were saved (One hostage was killed by a kidnapper during the assault). One of the SAS men became tangled in his abseiling gear on entry to the building. Before he could be cut free, a fire was started by a stun grenade and reached the sergeant, who suffered 60% burns. He carried on with the operation despite his injuries. Below is the picture of him BURNING. This is an example of why these heroes are Elite.

After the assault ended, the last surviving gunman, Fowzi Nejad, posed as a hostage and was escorted outside the embassy with the others. There, a real hostage quickly identified him as one of the attackers.

There was controversy over the deaths of two of the terrorists. At a coroner's inquest the SAS were cleared of unlawful conduct by a jury.

Television clips of the SAS raid were used as an example of how the United Kingdom had stood firm on terrorism and (unlike several other countries at the time) refused to surrender to the demands of terrorists.

Also of note:
Claude Stanley Choules (3 March 1901 – 5 May 2011) was, at the age of 110, with Florence Green one of the two last living World War I veterans in the world, and was the last living military witness to the scuttling of the German fleet in Scapa Flow. He was also the last living veteran to have served in both world wars, and the last seaman from the first world war. Choules was also the last surviving male World War I veteran (the last female veteran being Florence Green), and the last World War I veteran living in Australia. At the time of his death, he was also the third oldest verified military veteran in the world and the oldest man known living in Australia. He was the 7th-oldest living man in the world. Choules became the oldest man born in the United Kingdom following the death of Stanley Lucas on 21 June 2010. He died in Perth, Western Australia, at the age of 110.
Rest well, Sir.

"JUSTICE FINALLY SERVED"
On September 12th 2001 was the first of my signs’ and it read “DON’T STOP UNTIL THE BASTARD IS DEAD”, it was my feeling regarding 9/11.

And now 9 1/2 years later “THE BASTARD IS DEAD” thanks to ALL of our armed forces that pursued this goal since 9/12. When you think about it all service men and women can take pride in this accomplishment. Regardless of where you served- Iraq or Afghanistan- the reason he ended up where he was is because of where YOU where, and he couldn’t roam around freely. And the GRAND FINALE was the GREAT MISSION of the Navy Seals along with the Intelligence that was accumulated. This is why America’s military is the BEST in the world. My hat is off to EVERY SERVICE MAN and WOMEN.

Now with all that being said I am slightly disturbed of the “POLITICAL CORRECTNESS” that our government ALWAYS feels it must follow. If I had anything to say about the “BASTARDS” funeral arrangements they would have been as follows:

Make sure you have plenty of pictures of the BULLET HOLE in his head.
Take the cowards body and soak it in PIGS BLOOD and wrap it in bacon and the white garb and dump it in the ocean.
Have the news stations run this as many times PLUS ONE that America viewed the collapse of the towers.
That should be the way America disposes of the trash. The BASTARD is dead but it’s MALIGNANT TUMORS are still alive and SPREADING.

Was it a 'Gutsy decision'?

The decision to kill Osama bin Laden is being called a 'gutsy' one by the main stream media, but was it? What was Obamas choice? To not go? Yeah right, with a high probability of bin Laden being in the compound, Obama HAD NO CHOICE. What would have happened to his 'popularity' when (not IF) it got out that Obama had a very good chance of catching the worlds #1 mass murderer and terrorist but didn't do it? It would have destroyed any chance of his re-election. We won't hear the main stream media point this out, but it is obvious.
Remember, A US military man pulled the trigger, not Obama. Not to long ago they almost didn't get paid. Because of politicians. Obama is a politician and was in the middle of that fiasco.

pictures of Bin Ladens body

I've gotten a couple of emails asking if I had a copy of the FAKE picture of Bin Ladens body and would I post it.
Yes I have the picture, as well as the original un-doctored one and the Bin laden picture used to make the FAKE.
And NO I will not post it.
A. It is too graphic for my PG13 blog.
B. Why? It is a FAKE!
C. We have more important things going on than to waste time with this crap.

An Eye For An Eye Blinds Everybody

Nothing unites Americans like bloodlust.

Good old-fashioned, down-and-dirty in your face revenge sends us into freedom’s frenzy.

This mad motivation is enough to send mobs of white college kids into the streets with chants of “USA, USA., USA,” – mobs that would never converge on military recruiting offices or enlist en masse in the war on terrorism.

Old Glory becomes new glory.

And the worst might be yet to come.

Yesterday’s assassination of Osama bin Ladin unites us, said Barack Obama, the man who ordered the hit.

Really?

If so, at what cost?

Are we safer today than we were yesterday? Does America’s president sending out a shoot squad to whack America’s public enemy number one increase or decrease the risk to Americans at home and abroad?

Does the operation do more harm than good? Does Obama taking out Osama hurt us more than it helps us? Does the assassination make you feel good or bad? Are you afraid? Will Seal Team Six show up to save you if terrorists respond to the hit on their boss by attacking your local shopping mall, opening fire on tourists at the Lincoln Memorial or tossing a grenade into the eighth-grade class picture as dozens of unassuming kids pose on the steps of the U.S. Capitol?

C’mon, Corbett, stop exaggerating. That couldn’t happen.

Tell that to the almost 3,000 people who died when the twin towers fell after two hijacked planes crashed into their spires on September 11.

Getting even unites people on all sides.

Remember when young people danced in the Arab street in the aftermath of 9/11? Now our young people are dancing in the Washington street, chanting their slogans of patriotism and retaliation.

You hit us. We hit you. You hit us again. We hit you again.

Forever and ever, amen.

Sooner or later, an eye for an eye blinds everybody.

Violence always descends into the dark, emptiness of the grave.

So how do we prevent the bloodshed that results in the bloodlust that turns men, women and children against each other in this country as well as in others? How does the United States, a nation of law, diffuse the lawlessness of international terrorism?

Obama orders a hit on Osama and, suddenly Democrats and Republicans are supposedly united. Our country is not united, of course, and right-wingers still despise left-wingers as each blames the other for the demise of democracy.

Still, we’re supposedly on the same side.

On the morning after the hit, Democrat U.S. Sen. Bob Casey speaks of relief. Republican U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta commends Democrat Obama and, sounding like a broken country song, says he’s “proud to be an American.” Like his colleagues on the other side of the aisle, Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey offers a predictably superficial take on the rub-out. And Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Marino says on WILK News Radio this morning that he can’t remember what time he heard the news last night. Ten or 11, he says, before bringing up the Civil War and talking about cutting the head off a snake.

We’re damaged and proud of it.

Does danger in America increase as we celebrate? Does celebration suggest to our enemies that Americans approve of the assassination? Does such approval validate assassination as a legitimate weapon of war?

If so, everybody, including Obama and his family, is at risk. Casey, Barletta, Toomey, Marino and their families are at risk. I’m at risk. So are you.

When assassination becomes foreign policy, we’re all at risk.

Democracy also is at stake.

Like torture, if we can do it to you, you can do it to us.

And you will.

You will.

Yes, you will.
#####

So let me get this right. We should use harsh language to stop a mass murdering terrorist leader, and what he'll stop because we made him feel bad?

And we are just as bad as they are because we celebrated the death of someone, you know the architect of 9/11? Hmmm, 5 evil people dead (who will not hurt anyone EVER again) is equal to 2,752 innocent victims who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center including 343 firefighters and 60 police officers from New York City and the Port Authority.

"Are we safer today than we were yesterday?" YES. The next douche bag leader will think twice about attacking us because they are cowards. Need proof? Why wasn't Bin Laden in one of those planes? Because he was a Narcissistic Coward. He didn't want to die for his beliefs.

"You hit us. We hit you. You hit us again. We hit you again. Forever and ever, amen."
Wrong, we hit harder. With going after the leaders, the followers will start realizing that following a$$hats is a good way to shorten their lifespans. The ultimate 'Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes'

"Violence always descends into the dark, emptiness of the grave." A picture is worth a thousand words.

"We’re damaged and proud of it." We are damaged because targets (I mean 'people') are trying to destroy our way of life and kill us.

President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek said, "We have woken up in a more secure world."

I've said this before (about Leighton) and it fits here also, "There is not much you can say about someone so obviously divorced from reality and any rational thought."

Damn Libtards

A qoute from a WBFD Captain

A Captain from WBFD said this on facebook (I SHAMELESSLY stole... I mean copied and pasted it here)

"Say a prayer, give thanks, & enjoy knowing the terrorist mastermind who brought about the devastation of Sept 11, 2001 is dead. No matter who you support politically it is a good day for everyone in the United States. The responsibility of any Commander & Chief...Rep or Dem...to give the go ahead on a mission like this & place our special forces in harms way is a responsibility I can never fathom." ~ Captain Christopher Buchanan WBFD
