Former Judge Mark Ciavarella found guilty

WBRE reported former Judge Mark Ciavarella was found guilty in 12 of the 39 charges against him. This would give him a maximum of 157 years. He was found guilty of racketeering, money laundering, mail fraud and filing false tax returns. He was acquitted on extortion and bribery charges. Guilty of taking the 'finders fees', but not of bribery? How that works, I don't know.
The jury was still deciding how much, if any, money and assets should be seized (How about everything he does and ever owned!). Not just for the children, who he prosecuted for his own profit, but for the money that is/will be spent for the review of Judicial Rulings that WE will have to pay for.

Co-conspirator Michael Conahan was allowed to plead guilty to a single count instead of facing the same 39 counts as Ciavarella.
Hopefully now the FBI will be able to put its attention on the rest of the corruption in the area.
