Sig P365

Hi,
I'm bringing the blog back, but it's not going to be about politics anymore (ok not usually) but about firearms and outdoors type crap.
Now I'm a member of The Cabin Armory and Training Center and I spend quite a bit of time there, so they are going to get mentioned A LOT.

Today's post is about the Sig P365.
My first impressions,
It fits my hand PERFECTLY with the extended floorplate (1 of the 2 supplied magazines is so equipt)
Thr trigger is great for a factory trigger
2x10 round factory magazines (12 & 15 round after market are available) in a tiny package!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I didn't want to like this pistol, I was halfway in love with it.
All it needed was an acceptable range performance and I would have had its baby Sigs!

Yeah. Not so much in love with it now. The first 50 rounds were Remington white box Range ammo. 115 grain FMJ. I couldn't get a group out of this. 7 to 8 inch 'groups' at 7 to 10 yards is abysmal for a pistol. It's what I would expect from a shotgun with cheap 00 buck.
Also it was hitting 6 inches below point of aim at 10 yards!
So I tried Keystone munitions 115 grain FMJ (supplied by the Cabin). 41 rounds that didn't do much better.
To check if it was my fault, I fired the last 9 Keystone munitions out of a Ruger LC9S Pro at 10 yards. Those are the unpatched holes in the target.

Sig, you have a possible game changer in the 'Concealed carry market, DO SOMETHING TO FIX THE FIRING PIN SMEAR!

I'll be shooting the pistol some (in the vain hope it is 'break-in teething pains) with different types of ammo (manufacturers, weights and type) and if that doesn't smooth it out in 500 rounds or so, maybe a different barrel?
My ratings?
Ergonomics: It turns the dial up to 11 for a sub compact
Accessories:  9 , I would have liked to have gotten spare base plates for the mags but getting night sights more than made up for that
Accuracy: It doesn't shot groups it shots patterns that a shotgun would be embarrassed of!

All in all, this IS a sample group of one, but I would NOT recommend it at this time.

Reality

I've been seeing this moronic meme for a while.

Evidently 306 to 232 is a NARROW victory.

I have no idea who Stewart Safran is and I have no idea what color the sky is in his reality, so lets look at the rest of these moronic claims.
Of course the RNC opposed her. She's a democrat. Just to make sure you know, they are OPPOSING political parties.
Wikileaks, How DARE they expose the ILLEGAL E-mail scandal!
"(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. (b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States." From federal law, Title 18. Section 2071

The FBI, How DARE they investigate a Clinton! Let alone let the public KNOW that she was under investigation!

The Russian! OMG they may have given Wikileaks the ILLEGAL Emails! How dare they point out that Hillary was breaking Federal Law!

Let me point out a little fact. If Hillary wasn't ignoring FEDERAL LAW, then none of this would have happened! If none of this had happened, She MAY have won. You are blaming the people that exposed her ILLEGAL actions instead of the person who broke the law!

She may have won the popular vote, but we don't use that to elect our President (if we did we would be 'the United States of California') and Hillary knew this, and still LOST!

I didn't vote FOR Trump. I voted AGAINST Hillary 'Animal Farm' Clinton. Why Animal Farm ? Because she must believe "ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS". If anyone in our military had done what she did, they would be in Leavonworth prison, making big rocks into little rocks, for the next 20+ years. But, so far, she hasn't even gotten a wrist slap (except losing the election).

If conservatives acted this infantile when Obama won, they would've been crucified. I hate dual standards.

A correction

A friend sent me a link to a dot gov site that proved me wrong about absentee ballots not being counted unless they would affect the outcome

"What are absentee ballots? Do they only count in close elections?

Many absentee ballots are cast by voters who are unable to vote at their physical polling place due to being an active duty military member, a family member of someone on active duty or a U.S. citizen residing overseas. All ballots submitted according to State laws are counted in every election.

The media often will report the projected outcome of the election before all of the ballots are counted. In a close election, the media may report that the outcome cannot be announced until after the absentee ballots are counted. However, all ballots, including absentee ballots, are counted in the final totals for every election - and every vote (absentee or in-person) counts the same."

Sorry,

Safe spaces

I posted this on facebook.

Red voted for Hillary,
Blue voted for Trump.
Any questions or do you need a 'safe space' to cry in?

And WOW did the sh!t fly.
So here is one of my lists.
1. The popular vote doesn't elect or President. The Electoral College does.
2. The Electoral voters were faithful to the popular vote in their designated areas
3. Hillary knows how the system works
4. Historically Democratic states have more electoral votes than their Republican counterparts (California 55 votes, New York 29 votes, Illinois 20 votes, etc. While the Republican state with the most votes is Texas with 38. The others are swing states, but more of them is usually being won by Democratic candidate.)

This is how the States voted
5. I didn't vote FOR Trump, I voted AGAINST Hillary. Why? That list would be VERY LONG, but the main reason is 'Animal farm". "ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS" seems to be her motto.
If anyone in the military had done 1% of what she did, they would be in Leavenworth Prison for 20+ years. Here is the law:
In black and white, easy to follow. She is disqualified from holding any office or having any security clearance.
One other thing about her winning the 'popular vote'.
She’s probably not going to win the actual number of votes cast. She may win the number of votes counted, but not the votes cast.
States don’t count their absentee ballots unless the number of outstanding absentee ballots is larger than the state margin of difference. If there is a margin of 1,000 votes counted and there are 1,300 absentee ballots outstanding, then the state tabulates those. If the number of outstanding absentee ballots wouldn’t influence the election results, then the absentee ballots aren’t counted. This is why we will never know who actually wins the popular vote.

35 years ago, two Libyan Su-22 Fitter attacked and were shot down by two US Navy F-14A Tomcats off the Libyan coast.
Su-22 Fitter

F-14A

In August 1981, President Ronald Reagan authorized a large naval force including a pair of super carriers, USS Forrestal and USS Nimitz, to deploy to the Gulf of Sidra. This area had been 'annexed' by Lybia, who claimed it as part of Lybia's 'territorial waters'.
How did they justify this? They claimed this bay, which is VERY open to the Mediterranean Sea, was in reality a 'closed bay' even though it didn't meet the requirements of International Law.

Libya often confronted U.S. forces in and near the gulf including at least two occasions where Libyan jets opened fire on U.S. reconnaissance planes.
In an attempt to find the US carriers, the Libyan military sent 35 PAIRS of aircraft into the area!
After a morning full of fending of 'mock' attacks, an airborne early warning aircraft, E-3 Hawkeye, directed the Tomcats (from VF-41 Black Aces) to intercept the 2 Fitter aircraft.
The engagement started when one of the Fitters fired an AA-2 Atoll heat seeking missile at the Tomcats. The Tomcats evaded and answered with their own heat seekers (AIM-9L Sidewinders).
Both Libyan aircraft were shot down and both pilots ejected (Although one parachute did not appear to open) and the US Navy believes both pilots were recovered.
This was NOT the end of the day. Libya launch MIG-25's to continue to harass the US fleet. However, every time the MIG's detected the Tomcats radar, the MIGs ran.

Dear God, this level of stupid hurts

Ok, lets set the scene.
Watch this. Especially at the 16 minute 45 second mark forward.

Is this MORON the best VP candidate the Libertarian party can come up with?
The definition of 'Weapon of Mass Destruction' (WMD) is Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons.
So, yes WMDs WERE found in Iraq.
"From 2004 to 2011, American and American-trained Iraqi troops repeatedly encountered, and on at least six occasions were wounded by, chemical weapons remaining from years earlier in Saddam Hussein’s rule.
In all, American troops secretly reported finding roughly 5,000 chemical warheads, shells or aviation bombs, according to interviews with dozens of participants, Iraqi and American officials, and heavily redacted intelligence documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act."
But that is NOT my point. This complete idiot thinks that any rifle with more than 5 rounds is 'essentially' equal to a NUCLEAR WARHEAD!
So this
Equals this

SIGH.........
“The five-shot rifle, that’s a standard military rifle; the problem is if you attach a clip to it so it can fire more shells and if you remove the pin so that it becomes an automatic weapon, and those are independent criminal offenses,” Weld said. “That is when they become, essentially, a weapon of mass destruction. The problem with handguns probably is even worse than the problem of the AR15.”
Now, let's look at the other stupidity in this statement.
The US military hasn't had a 5 shot rifle since 1936, when the M1 Garand (which had an 8 round magazine) replaced the 1903 Springfield. So, No 5 shot rifle has been used by the military in 80 YEARS!
BTW, Clips feed magazines, Magazines feed weapons. From Wikipedia:

Now,I'm not really a 'term Nazi' for most people, but if you are a politician then GET IT RIGHT!

And then he has to outdo his previous stupidity. "if you remove the pin so that it becomes an automatic weapon".
WHAT @#$%ING PIN IS THIS MENTAL MIDGET TALKING ABOUT?
I've built several AR's and I have no CLUE what 'Pin' he is talking about, and honestly neither does he.
Voting for people like this, politicians who talk about things that they know NOTHING about, is willful retardation at it's finest.

Almost 26 years

Back in Sept '90 I bought a used Glock 17, it's an early first gen.
Now, coming up on 26 years with her, I'd like to tell you a little about her.
I keep extensive notes on my firearms.
Over 30,000 rounds from various manufacturers including +P ammo and reloads.
3 jams (that's right 3!) one was due to a low powder charge in a reload
6 FTF (failures to fire) 3 or 4 were reloads, so probably my fault

What I willingly changed:
The sights (shiver), Glocks have 'slightly' sub par factory sights, She has had Trijicon Night Sights for about 5 years, A SOLID improvement.
The slide stop. For the past 4 years she has had a Glock Extended Slide Stop Release, I really only got this because friends were telling me it was SO MUCH better, My opinion, Meh. If I decide to switch it again I would get a Vickers Tactical Slide Stop. IMHO, much better but I'm not running to get one.
The Final change.
The recoil spring was getting weak, so I had to get a Glock Guide Rod and Recoil Spring Assembly. That was the ONLY necessary replacement.

Oh, some people get grip sleeves. I use a piece of a bicycle inner tube.
Here's hoping for another 26 years.

A post!

A post I put on Facebook:
Ok, I'm tired of the hypocrisy.
The left has been demonizing Trump for his immigration policy and his reactions to Mr. Khan's speech at the DNC.
Ok, What Trump said was in bad taste. Very.
But where is the outrage for Hillary's lies? She lied to the families of the Benghazi attack, then when THEY called her out on it, She calls THEM lairs!
Where is the outrage for her insulting those families? She was the one in charge and the media lets her skate on that AND for saying they 'mis-remember' even though they have her on video!
Bias in the news is nothing surprising...I just didn't think anyone put that level of ham-fisted propaganda in media outside of North Korea.

The 4 gun control measures that failed to pass

I'm getting sick of the lies that the Main Stream Media has been putting out about the 4 gun control amendments that the Senate did not pass on Monday.
They keep blaming the NRA for it. Let's look at what the votes were. Most of this info comes from CNN. Most of the votes followed party lines.
First a proposal by by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa,
It would enhance funding for the existing gun background check system (NICS) which needed 60 votes to pass. It would have required states to add more information on mental health issues and would have had provisions for alerting the police if anyone who has been on the Terror watch list (in the last 5 years) buys a firearm.
The final vote tally was 53 to 47. This was shot down by the DEMOCRATS.

The second vote was on a measure by Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.,
It would have expanded gun background checks and close the so-called gun show loophole (which is as real as a pink unicorn) where firearm purchases are not tracked. Because criminals can't buy from licensed dealers.
The final vote tally was 44 to 56. This is 'feel good' legislation and was shot down by Republicans.

The third vote was from Sen. John Cornyn , R-Texas,
This would allow the government to delay a gun sale to a suspected terrorist for 3 business days, but require federal prosecutors to go to court to show probable cause. If they could prove it, then the sale would be blocked permanently (The National Rifle Associated backed this legislation).
It failed in a final vote of 53 to 47 by DEMOCRATS.

The final measure was by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.,
It would keep people on a government terrorism watch list or other suspected terrorists from buying guns. The Justice Department endorsed her legislation, but it would have violate due process! Making it UNCONSTITUTIONAL. This had ZERO possibility of being passed because of that alone.
It also failed with a final vote count of 47 to 53. Shot down by Republicans.

Even if the Senate passed any of these they would've found HEAVY opposition in the House.

Now to my thoughts, the ONLY one of these that I had ANY support for was the third one, proposed by Sen. Cornyn. It is an elegant compromise that respected our rights. I don't support any legislation that accuses people without notifying them and makes it all but impossible to prove your innocence. At one time we were ALL innocent until PROVEN guilty.

The passing of Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered for having cultivated such valuable lessons as: knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason.
He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

The Walking Dead Season 5

Once again I'm here listing the absolute stupidity that the writers of the Walking Dead push on us.

1. E02 When are these people going to do things the SMART way.
They could have killed most of the wet basement walkers from safety by strapping a knife to a stick and stabbing them from the main floor. Primitive people figured out stabbing people with a spear, so the danger is kept far away from you, is a good idea.
These people aren't as smart as primitive people.

2. E03 Having basically a loud party with no windows boarded up or covered and hundreds of candles burning.... Did Daryl learn NOTHING from the Funeral home last season?

3. E04 Lets tie a bunch of bed sheets together and we'll go down the elevator shaft that leads into the pit of walkers. I'm sure we'll be okay because for some reason they won't be anywhere near the pile of bodies at the bottom even though that's their constant source of food.
I'm Sure THAT carefully laid out plan can't go wrong.

BTW Rick who the !@#$ shoulders a weapon like that?

4. E04 Beth getting every head shot in dead accurate fashion even though its pitch black and while she is wearing a cast on her dominant hand (preventing her from getting a proper grip) and firing one handed.

5. E04 You don't even know if the doors to outside are unlocked down there!

6. E04 I'm sure you won't be seen working our way through all the walkers that hang around outside so no need to leave at a time that those snipers on the roof would have a harder time seeing you.

7. E05 When the Fire Engine isn't running, The pump isn't running.
If the pump isn't running, there is NO water pressure.
If there is NO water pressure, then the deck gun, DOES NOT WORK.

8. E05 How does glass damaging a fuel line cause the short bus go out of control? The fuel lines have nothing to do with steering.

9. E06 The whole van drop....

10. E07 Why go to the hospital? All the cops have radios. They wouldn't be carrying them if they didn't have someone listening.
If Rick used the radio to call that Dawn chick, he could negotiate with less risk, plus he could easily prove he actually has their people by having one of them talk to her.

11. E08 How did someone manage to draw/shoot a holstered gun within a millisecond of being stabbed? I know people that practice this and no way do you clear leather that fast. Add to that, the head shot? Really? In that situation you would put several in the chest. It's faster and an easier target, plus it may stop the attacker from stabbing you A SECOND TIME.

12 E08 Why the hell would Beth stab the (Right handed) cop in the left shoulder? With a pair of surgical scissors no less. The scissors were too lame a weapon to truly hurt Dawn, but it was too extreme an action not to draw a reaction.
It's not like that would be debilitating. What did she think was going to happen? The cop would HAVE to think that it was the opening for a life threatening attack and act accordingly.

13. E09 Tyreese, don't stare at a picture while in an UNSECURED/UNCLEARED building.

14. E09 Obviously, Hershel never taught Rick, Glenn or Michonne how to make a tourniquet. I mean, grade school children know how, so it's probably WAY to complicated for these morons.

15. E13 Why the HELL would you steal guns from the incompetently run armory, sneak them outside then sneak them back inside? Just leave the ones you want to keep inside, wait for it, INSIDE!

16. E14 Glenn, when you find a large number of walkers, or even just one, like behind a secure fenced in area, kill them before moving on.

17. E14 Grenades do NOT go off just because they've been shot.

18. E14 When did they start making grenades that throw people about 6 to 10 feet (the only way dumbass could have been impaled that badly) but otherwise leave them unharmed? Grenades work by throwing shrapnel, NOT explosive force.

19. E16 Daryl, you've been surviving in the ZPAW for, what, 4 years (?). By DAY 4 I know I would knock on doors (and such) before opening them, but YOU just go to open the truck up without even listening to the door.

20.   E16 Morgan just waded into 50+ walkers and saves the day, instead of
1. leading some off
2. killing them
3. going back
4. lather, rinse, repeat
until the numbers were actually manageable. (I won't say he should have shot them, we don't know if he has ammo)

21. E16 Great wall at Alexandria, no one was at the gate to unlock it when Aaron, Daryl and Morgan showed up and it kept them out, NOT.

22. E15 What also doesn't make sense is Aaron and Daryl see the light from the camp at night, but don't hear someone get dismembered and another tied to a tree and tortured.

On a side note, I think that the ONLY one with an IQ point is Carol

"SIR, I WILL NOT OBEY THAT ORDER."

I've been hearing similar complaints. I would NOT obey that order. It is not legal.
What a soldier or sailor has in their PRIVATE home, as long as it is legal, is none or the governments business. But telling a lie about what you have there IS a punishable offence.

Our military should not be about political correctness, it should remain an arm of the government dedicated to keeping us safe from threats and attacks from other countries.

"Hands up, Don't Shoot!" Happened, It just wasn't Michael Brown

Why isn't there a media storm about THIS murder?

These 'fine' young men, at the young age of 15 (plus a 14 year old), decided that playing basketball was too boring.
They decided to rob someone. It was NOT the first time they had done so, they BOTH have arrest records for robbery.
They profiled their victim, passing on a younger man walking a large dog and picked James Stuhlman.

Here is what I've been able to decipher.
These 'fine young men' shot Mr. Stuhlman in the leg to ensure compliance. Then because he wasn't carrying any money, they shot him in the chest. DESPITE his pleading, "Please Don't Shoot me, Please Don't Shoot me".

How do we know what happened? Why because these 'fine young men' BRAGGED about it in the confessions they gave the police. Oh, and this happened in Overbrook, Pa.
Would the story have been differant if Mr Stuhlman had been armed? No way of knowing, but you can know, if he had been, that it would have given him a chance.
This is why I hate the media, They only care about ratings and their agenda.

So some morons think our Warriors go on "Killing Sprees"??!!

The title was no joke. Some morons (liberals actually) think that people like Chris Kyle, who was the main focus of American Sniper, was a bigot and he (and all the rest of our military) go on "killing sprees".

NBC foreign correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin calls Chris Kyle a "racist" and claims that the MILITARY MISSIONS were "killing sprees." Now I'm sorry (NO I'm NOT), but the only real way to win a war is to kill the bad guys (that would be them, Mr. Mohyeldin) and protect the good guys (and that would be US).

If you were open minded (or intelligent) Mr. Mohyeldin, you would realize that if the bad guys (that would be them) are from 'local' nations, then a warrior will be killing people from that area. That's not racism! That's reality!

Also Mr. Mohyeldin, Who are these "A lot of people say" & "some people say", that you mention? BTW the little anti military voices in your head... They just don't count. Using "A lot of people say" & "some people say" is nothing more than a cowardly attempt to hide your own views.
You are SUPPOSED to be a reporter, cite your sources. Hell even I cite sources and I'm not on TV.

It's OK to be anti-war. It's OK to be liberal. It's OK to like Obama. It is NOT OK to tear down men and women who are willing to DIE for your rights. ESPECIALLY when you NEVER served and make a living using a right that they are there to defend.

Just so you know Mr. Mohyeldin, the military does NOT have the right to refuse an order (unless that order is illegal). So if you have a problem with the war, complain about the people in charge, don't tell lies about a warrior in the war.

If MSNBC wants to point at racists, how about pointing out that Islamic terrorists/extremists want to kill anyone not Islamic. And not their version of Islam. And anyone Jewish. And children for some reason. And anyone with a view that is not EXACTLY the same as theirs.  And it oppress women. In case you missed the hint. These Islamic terrorists/extremists.... ARE RACIST and BIGOTED.

As much as extreme Liberals would like everyone to join in their belief that Chris Kyle was some sort of blood thirsty, bigoted monster, He was not. He was an extremely skilled warrior and a man. A man with flaws? Yes (who doesn't have them?). But those flaws are what makes him, and all who serve, Heroic.

Now I rarely watch MSNBC for a reason. Mainly because they are idiots.

Quarantine

I asked this on Facebook.

'So let me get this straight.
We are sending troops to West Africa to provide humanitarian aid for the Ebola epidemic.
When these troops come back to the US, they will have to go through a 21 day quarantine, but foreigners coming FROM west Africa do NOT have to go through this quarantine.
How can this possibly sound RIGHT to ANYONE?'

This isn't a stupid question. It's not a dumb question. It IS an honest & fair question.

Why would this be forced on our men & women in uniform, but not someone WITHOUT the training (that I sincerely hope our troops will get) and equipment that can keep them safe?

Honestly WHY?

Rolling Stone Ragazine.... Again

Rolling Stone Ragazine, in it's continuing stupidity, has an article listing "The 5 most dangerous Guns"!!!!!! DUM, DUM, DUM ...........DUMB.
This article is SO MORONIC it sucks IQ points out of the room. At least they're consistent in their incompetence.

Let's take a look, shall we?
Number one is....... Pistols.
Wait.... what? No. They wouldn't just list basic types of firearms in their anti gun crusade? You know, to paint ALL guns as BAD? Would they? Yep.

Number two is Revolvers.
Yep no surprise there... Well actually, I was surprised. I expected the insidious 'assault weapon'.

Number three is Rifles!
"According to FBI latest publicly available homicide records, in 2012 rifles were used to murder more than 320 people."
Also in 2012 Blunt objects (clubs, hammers, etc.) were used to murder 518 people and Personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc.)  a further 678. Obviously RSM couldn't give a rat's $hit about those 1196 people. They don't fit into RSM's agenda.

Number four is Shotguns
"Additionally, the explosive that creates the energy to fire the gun occurs in the fixed shell of a shotgun rather than the metallic cartridge of a rifle.
Per the FBI, shotguns were used in 303 murders in 2012."
RSM, learn a little (at least) about what you are talking about. Modern gunpowder does not 'explode', it burns at a VERY fast rate, producing expanding gas that force the bullet or shot down the barrel.
Also, if you add both the rifle number (320) and the shotgun number (303) it comes out to 623. Still less than hands, fists, feet, etc at 678.

Number five is Derringers
Yep. Derringers. I can honestly say I have never even seen one fired, I know of no one who owns one and I have never heard of one being used in modern times. So why add it? It fits their 'all guns are EVUL' agenda.

Here is a fact that a rag like RSM will not print. Murders by firearms have been steadily (if slowly with sporadic increases) DECREASING for 20 years.
2008 was 9,528 2009 was 9,199 2010 was 8,874 2011 was 8,653 2012 was 8,855

Bias in the media is nothing surprising...I just didn't think anyone put that level of ham-fisted propaganda in print outside of North Korea.
